EA has started preparing the launch of FIFA 22. The company has announced that the game will hit the market on October 1st, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Google Stadia.
FIFA 22, the new game from EA Sports, which has written history, is coming soon. The creators of the game claim that among the most important technologies is the implementation of HyperMotion, a next-gen system that brings to life the most realistic and immersive gaming experience in every game and game mode.
Electronic Arts promises more than 4000 new animations for this new edition. And it's not just the players who will gain in realism since the ball physics has also been reviewed. On the Artificial Intelligence side, the defensive blocks should become more compact and thus no longer unravel too easily against a building team.
With FIFA 21 it was still the case that the purchase of each version on the PS4 and Xbox One entitled to download the upgrade for the respective next-gen console free of charge. But for FIFA 22 that was canceled. Instead, you only get access to both versions when you buy the Ultimate Edition, which costs a whopping 100 euros. In addition to various FUT content, it is the only one that offers the possibility of downloading and playing both the last-gen and current-gen versions. If you only get the Standard Edition on the PS4, you would have to pay the full game price of 80 euros for a potential later PS5 upgrade.
A move that will surely cause discussion, given that the purchase of the Ultimate Edition, which will have other extra content in addition to the Dual Entitlement, still offers a form of upgrade: a sign that from a technical point of view it is possible. The fact of not allowing the upgrade from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, even with a symbolic outlay of about 10 euros as offered by other titles, will force players to buy the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S versions directly if they want to. enjoy the game in next-gen form.
Another new feature is FUT Heroes, created to increase the number of icons in the Ultimate Team game mode. This new type of card will highlight players who have excelled in a given game or moment of play in the past. Mario Gómez, Tim Cahill, Diego Milito, Jorge Campos, Fernando Morientes, Sami Al-Jaber, Robbie Keane, Abedi Pelé and Clint Dempsey are the athletes already confirmed in this first set of FUT Heroes cards.
If you're wondering who will be on the cover, well this place is also reserved for the Paris Saint-Germain striker - Kylian Mbappé. He is pictured on the cover of the game for the second year in a row, becoming the third player to receive this distinction two years in a row, along with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
